The brain begins as a tube and it develops 3 primary vesicles which then develop into 5 secondary vesicles
3 primary = Forebrain, midbrain, hindbrain
3 sulci develop before any other sulci which help to define the brain’s lobes
the 3 sulci are
central sulcus
lateral sulcus
parieto-occipital sulcus
the 6 lobes of the brain are
Frontal
Parietal
Occipital
Temporal
Insula
Limbic lobe
