LAMA = Long acting muscarinic antagonist causing bronchodilation but this also has mucolytic properties and causes movement of mucus BREAKING IT UP AND REDUCING ITS VISCOSITY making it easier for patients with COPD to cough it up and relieve COPD symptoms and exacerbations tiotropium, aclidinium, umeclidinium – more selective for M3 receptor

LABA = Long acting beta agonists - cause prolonged B2 bronchodilation

SAMA = short acting muscarinic antagonists — Ipratropium

IV magnesium sulphate = used in severe asthma attacks
