Sympathetics T5-9, parasympathetics from vagus via coeliac plexus

Arterial supply of the spleen

• Splenic artery runs along the upper border of the pancreas
• Divides into its branches that enter the spleen at its hilum

Venous supply of the spleen

• Splenic vein runs along the tail & body of pancreas
