there are 3 types of dementia

early stage - can be muddled with other conditions eg stress forgetting little things and often overlooked for the ‘normal ageing process’ or stress (As above) but in hindsight in the later stages of dementia this can be understood - this stage can go on for many years

middle stage - more advanced than the early stage and can often be the start of needing extra help in day-day life

Late stage - At this stage, the person with Alzheimer’s will need even more help and will gradually become dependent on others for all aspects of their care including eating, washing and dressing • This support can be provided by care at home, but it more often provided in a care home setting.

often it is a massive change to an individuals life
